Efforts on to provide modern medical facilities to poor, says Padma Rao Goud

Secunderabad: Telangana Assembly Deputy Speaker Padma Rao Goud said that he had been striving to provide modern medical facilities to poor in his constituency. On Wednesday, Padma Rao handed over letters of credit sanctioning financial assistance from CM Relief Fund to four beneficiaries. Rs 8 lakh were sanctioned for medical treatment of the beneficiaries.

Speaking to media, Padma Rao said that CMRF was turning out to be a boon to poor and middle-class people who could not afford expensive medical treatment in corporate hospitals. Arifa of Namalagundu was sanctioned Rs 2 lakh; Saif of Warasiguda Rs 1 lakh; Rishika Raj of Sitaphalmandi Rs 2.5 lakh; and Karunakar of Tukaramgate Rs 1 lakh, as financial assistance. He urged people not to contact any intermediaries for receiving CMRF funds and contact him at his camp office number 040-2750448 in case anyone demands money for it. He said that measures were being taken to ensure that intermediaries played no role in the implementation of welfare schemes.
