Shadnagar: RTC driver rams bus into car, many injured
Passengers demand safe transport services
Shadnagar: An RTC bus had rammed into a car at Kottur bypass crossing in Kottur mandal of Shandagar constituency injuring many in the bus as well as four persons travelling in the car.
According to sources, an RTC bus heading towards Hyderabad from Mahbubnagar hit a Renault Duster car carry carrying four passengers from rear side while taking a turning at Kottur-bypass junction.
In the impact, the car was badly damaged and the four passengers in the car were severely injured.
Even, many passengers in the RTC bus also suffered injuries in the incident.
All the injured were immediately shifted to Shadnagar hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the bus passengers blamed the bus driver appointed on temporary basis for the accident and urged the government to address the issues of RTC employees and prevent such incidents by resuming the transport services in the State.
The Kottur police, meanwhile, registered a case and took up the probe.
