Khammam: Following Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's statement on RTC strike, the workers were slowly reverting back to work in Khammam district. Striking RTC driver Mobin, who was working under the Sathupalli Depot and actively taking part in the strike activities, submitted letter to join his duties to RTC Depot Manager J Venkateswara Babu in Sathupalli on Sunday.

Speaking to The Hans India, RTC RM SVG Krishna Murthy said that he tried to hold talks with the employees and convince them to withdraw the strike. He said that he appealed to RTC workers to understand the situation of the Corporation and resume their job on or before November 5.

Meanwhile, news that one RTC driver identified as Seshadri, under the Bhadrachalam depot, joined duty after the Chief Minister's announcement, went viral on social media. The viral news caused stress among striking RTC employees, but Seshadri refused the report and said that it was false.

He said that he was not willing to join duty and would continue to participate in the strike at Kothagudem. Commissioner of Police Tafseer Iqbal and Superintendent of Police Bhadradri Kothagudem Sunil Dutt appealed to the RTC workers to avoid the strike and join their duties.
