Cherlapally: The students who underwent training in plastic recycling as machine operator assistants at the Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology's centre for skill and technical support were awarded certificates.

Addressing the students, V R Chary, General Manager (HR & A), NBCFDC, New Delhi, said the main objective of the course was to provide employment to candidates belonging to the OBC/EBC categories. He stated that there was a scope for setting up industries after gaining experience, as NBCFDF loans could be secured. He advised the students to inculcate discipline for coming up in life.

Some students who completed the course have been provided jobs in Sun Polymers and Sri V S S Polymers and other industries.

CIPET Senior Technical Officer Vijay Kumar said the institute had many such training courses to benefit the unemployed youth. Details of such courses could be secured by contacting tel 98495-99133. Those present on the occasion included CIPET employees Sai Surendra, Govinda and Anji Naik.
