Suryapet: Officials told to complete Pulichintala rehabilitation works at the earliest
District collector Amoy Kumar ordered the officials concerned to complete the Pulichintala rehabilitation works at the earliest. On Friday, along with Joint Collector Sanjeeva Reddy, the Collector conducted a review meeting on the progress of rehabilitation works of Pulichintala project at the Collectorate.

Addressing the officials, the Collector expressed concern over the works being carried out at snail's pace despite sanctioning of funds for the rehabilitation centre in 2016-17. As many as 17 rehabilitation centres were established for the villagers of 13 villages who have been evacuated to carry out construction of Pulichintala project.
The Collector directed the officials to finish all the pending works of rehabilitation centers on war footing and also instructed the engineers to construct the temples and other structures in rehabilitation centres as per the rules and regulations of the government.
He suggested the officials to address all the land acquisition issues in an amicable way.
District Revenue Officer Chandraiah, Roads and Buildings Executive Engineer Yakub, Collectorate Administrative Officer Pradyumna, Divisional Engineers and Revenue staff attended the meeting.
