Talasani likens Opposition leaders to barking dogs
Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Monday made a controversial remark that the Opposition leaders are barking like dogs.
Hyderabad: Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Monday made a controversial remark that the Opposition leaders are barking like dogs.
The Minister was addressing a press conference along with Ministers V Srinivas Goud, Gangula Kamalakar here at TRSLP office here. "Government is constructing double bedroom houses and these will not get completed as and when those are started.
The Congress and BJP leaders are shouting like dogs. We are not having the habit of shouting like dogs like the Opposition leaders. We have responsibility," said the Minister.
He further said that each double bedroom house costs Rs 9.5 lakh in urban and Rs 5.5 lakh in rural areas and the government is giving them to the people free whereas the Congress government collected money from the people.
The Minister hailed the budget presented by Finance Minister T Harish Rao and said that even though there was recession, the Minister came out with the best budget.
Even the economic experts are also welcoming the budget. The budget has given priority to the backward classes. The budget provides more benefits to the BCs than the Sub Plan.
Minister V Srinivas Goud said that even during time of recession the government allocated Rs 30,000 crore for BCs. The Congress and BJP leaders lost their cool after such a budget.
He said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and Minister KT Rama Rao were giving top priority to social justice.
