Tea stall owner fined of Rs 5,000 for littering on road in Mahabubabad

The municipal authorities imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 over a tea stall owner in Thorrur of Mahabubabad district for littering on road. While the Panchayat Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao was on an inspection in Thorrur, he found glasses being thrown on the road near Thorrur crossroads.
Soon after, he directed the municipal officials to impose a fine on the tea stall owner. The minister also expressed anger over the garbage piled up near the bus stand. He then called up the Regional Manager of TSRTC and enquired about it. Later, the minister called up the district collector and complained about the Depot manager of Thorrur. He asked the collector to take stern action against the depot manager.
Dayakar Rao said that the government has taken the Pattana Pragati programme in a prestigious manner and such uncleanliness by the officials will not be entertained.
