A villager said that Sonu Sood has helped many people during the pandemic and has attained the place of god. "Hence, the temple has been constructed in his honour. Like gods, we will offer prayers to Sonu Sood too," he added.


It is widely-known that Sonu Sood has been reaching out to people through micro-blogging site Twitter and addressing their issues. From helping the migrant workers to return their homes to offering a job to a techie in Hyderabad who lost her job due to the pandemic. Recently, the actor helped the family of a 19-year-old food delivery boy who died in the accident.

Constructing temples is not new for the actors in India. Actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Rajnikanth, Khushboo, NT Rama Rao and actor turned politician Karunidhi have temples constructed by their fans.
