Telangana: Couple dies of electrocution at Jagtial

A couple died of electrocution on Saturday here at Vellulla village of Mettupalli mandal of Jagtial district. They were identified as Gangadhar and Lakshmi.

The incident occurred when Lakshmi came in contact with an unused electric wire while drying the clothes. Hearing the screams of Lakshmi, Gangadhar rushed to rescue her and was also suffered the electric shock.

The police rushed to the spot and sent the bodies to a hospital for an autopsy. An investigation is underway.
