Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Secretary Dr. S K Joshi today exhorted state level training institutions and academies functioning under aegis of several departments to work in coordination and implement best practices among each other for achieving best results.

The Chief Secretary held a review meeting of State level training institutions along with Special Chief Secretaries Ajay Mishra, Somesh Kumar, Adhar Sinha and Principal Secretaries Arvind Kumar, Jayesh Ranjan, Rajiv Trivedi, Vikas Raj, Telangana State Police Academy Director Santosh Mehra , DG, Fire Services Gopikrishna, PCCF PK Jha, EPTRI DG Kalyan Chakravarti and other officials from Medical and Health , MCRHRD, NAC, Forest Academy, TASK, CGG and others.

The Chief Secretary said that a committee has been set up with Santosh Mehra as Chairman and Tirupatiah as Convener along with representatives of EPTRI, Forest and Health departments to prepare a report within one month regarding Training calendar, State Level Training Guidelines, coordinate with central training institutions, training modules as per service rules , raising resources through training, optimum utilisation of infrastructure, faculty of institutions, coordination among all institutions, as a part of Corporate Social Responsibility, civilians to be trained on fire safety, soft skills etc.

He said the meeting also discussed on usage of solar energy, zero waste discharge in the institutions, They also discussed about RTI, Health training, soft skills, training programs of MCRHRD, National institute of Urban Management, Telangana Police Academy, NAC, CGG, Telangana Prohibition and Excise Academy etc.

He also asked officials to empower civilians in use of Information Technology in their day to day official activities. They also discussed on GST, cyber crimes, urban finance, identification of agencies for government works etc.,
