A farmer was killed due to the lightning strike while he was ploughing on Thursday afternoon in Kothagudem district.
Domala Sunder (46), a native of Pinapakapatto Nagar in Burgampahad mandal was ploughing his agriculture field with two oxen when the incident occurred. The farmer and the oxen died on the spot. A case was registered by the police.
On May 20, 2019, three members of a family identified as Khaja Bee, her daughter Tabassum and son Akram were dead on the spot after being hit by a thunderbolt at Rajapur village of Dharur mandal of Vikarabad district.
Two goats belonging to the family were also dead in the incident.
