Telangana: Huzurnagar bypoll on October 21
- The notification for bypoll will be released on September 23
- The counting of votes will be done on October 24
The bypoll for Huzurnagar assembly constituency is set to be held on October 21, confirmed Sunil Arora, chief Election Commissioner of India.
The constituency seat has fall vacant in the assembly after Uttam Kumar Reddy who won as MLA has been elected to parliament in recently held elections. Congress leader Uttam Kumar Reddy has won from Huzurnagar assembly constituency in 2018 elections. He was again won as MP from Nalgonda.
While releasing the election schedule for Haryana, Maharashtra assembly elections, Sunil Arora also announced the of Huzurnagar bypoll.
The notification pertaining to the bypoll will be released on September 23 and the last date to file nominations is September 30. The withdrawal of nominations can be done on October 3.
And the counting votes will take place on October 24.
