Vikarabad: Thunderstorms with lightening are likely to occur at isolated places in all districts of Telangana on October 31, as the depression over the Maldives-Comorin areas moved northwest-wards and lay centered at 8.30 am near north-northeast of Male (Maldives), 200 km east-southeast of Minicoy (Lakshadweep), 380 km southeast of Kavaratti (Lakshadweep) and 220 km west-southwest of Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala). The Met department bulletin said on Wednesday that the depression is likely to move northwest-wards across Lakshadweep Islands and intensify into a deep depression during next 24 hours and into a cyclonic storm during the subsequent 48 hours.
