Hyderabad: The Central Crime Station, LB Nagar along with Hayathnagar police arrested two habitual burglars identified as V Shiva Sai (24) and P Srinivas (28) and recovered 7.5 tolas gold, 20 tolas silver, two mobiles and a two wheeler, which was all worth Rs 3.69 lakh.

According to officials, both the accused persons are old offenders. In the year 2010 Shiva got acquaintance with one girl, who resides beside his house and the other accused Srinivas is the brother of that girl.

Shiva was involved in seven property cases in Khammam and Guntur districts, while Srinivas four cases and was absconding since 2016.

Police said two weeks ago both the accused hatched a plan to commit property offences to lead lavish life.

As per their plan they selected an isolated place in Adibatla and committed burglary at a house. Police nabbed the accused persons at Thurkyamjal on Sunday night.
