Two women hurt in road accident in Hyderabad
Two women were hurt seriously after a speeding car hit them here at LB Nagar on Wednesday morning.
Two women were hurt seriously after a speeding car hit them here at LB Nagar on Wednesday morning.
The mishap has taken place when the women identified as Venkatamma and Satamma cross the road and a car rammed into them before hitting the divider. Passersby alerted the police who shifted the women to a hospital and nabbed the car driver. He was also sent to a hospital for treatment.
On Tuesday, a woman identified as Sohini Saxena working with Tata Consultancy Services died after a TSRTC bus rammed into her two-wheeler at Banjara Hills. The bus from Barkatpura depot was travelling between Kondapur and Koti.
People in the area caught hold of the temporary RTC driver Sridhar and assaulted him. They also vandalised the bus by hurling stones. The police took the driver into custody and launched a probe. They said that they will know if the accident occurred due to brake failure or driver's negligence.
