Bhadrachalam: Varuna Yagam, to appease the Rain God, was conducted by the priests at the Kasi Annapurneswara Swamy temple in Bhadrachalam on Monday.

Later, Varuna Yagam was conducted on the temple premises where a large number of devotees took part in the programme and offered special prayers.

Meanwhile, the celestial wedding of Lord Rama with his consort Sita was performed at the Beda Mandapam. A number of couples attended the programme and offered prayers. During the wedding, the deities were attired in silk clothes and jewellery.
