Vemulawada to become a revenue division
The government on Monday issued a preliminary notification with GO No 228 to convert Vemulawada of Rajanna Sircilla district as a revenue division.
Vemulawada: The government on Monday issued a preliminary notification with GO No 228 to convert Vemulawada of Rajanna Sircilla district as a revenue division.
Chief Secretary of State government Somesh Kumar had issued orders of preliminary notification of changing Vemulawada as a revenue division. After this, complaints and objections will be received from various sections of people for a period of 30 days and after clearing all the doubts, Vemulawada will be made as a revenue division.
Meanwhile, heavy rush of devotees was witnessed at Vemulawada temple on Monday in view of Sammakka and Saralamma jatara, which will be held from Wednesday (February 5).
Thousands of devotees thronged Vemulawada temple and offered prayers to Lord Shiva and from here, they went to Medaram jatara, which is a ritual followed by all section
of people.
