Vikarabad: Move to boost dairy farming

Vikarabad: District Collector Ayesha Masrat Khanam said artificial insemination will be done for 20,000 cattle, both cows and buffaloes, in the district. Speaking at the coordination committee meeting with district officials here on Monday, she directed them to conduct free artificial insemination for 200 cattle in every village.

The officials were to identify 100 villages for this purpose. The Collector also emphasised on segregation of dry and wet waste. She ordered DM&HO to conduct medical check-ups for the students of KGBV. She stressed on protecting the trees and replacing the dried saplings with new ones. Officials were asked to speed up works for dumping yards, graveyards, water harvesting pits in the villages.
