Village leaders provide transport for students
An idea from a sarpanch and upa sarpanch has given an opportunity to the students of a village to continue their education. Sarpanch Shyam Kumar and upa sarpanch Bheri Ramachander Yadav of Mittakankal initiated to provide transport for the students of their village.
Pudur: An idea from a sarpanch and upa sarpanch has given an opportunity to the students of a village to continue their education. Sarpanch Shyam Kumar and upa sarpanch Bheri Ramachander Yadav of Mittakankal initiated to provide transport for the students of their village. Students of the village are studying at ZP High School in Kodmoor. As the examinations are approaching, special classes are being conducted these days. It becomes dark, when students return homes.
In the wake of recent assaults on girls and women, the worried parents are unwilling to send their children for the special classes. The upa sarpanch of the village came forward to provide an autorickshaw when some of the parents approached him. School Headmaster Krishna thanked the upa sarpanch for the gesture. Kodmoor sarpanch Afzal Khan was also present.
