Warangal: 2 city girls excel in Balotsav

Warangal: City-based Kuchipudi dancers Narahari Sonakshi Reddy and J Vidya Hasin excelled in the recently concluded Balotsav-2019, an International Kids Cultural Festival hosted by the Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology (VVIT), in Guntur.

While Sonakshi had clinched first prize in the Sub-Junior category, Vidya Hasin bagged first prize in the seniors category.

Incidentally, both the young dancers are the disciples of classical dance exponent Bompelly Sudheer Rao of Warangal. Sonkshi, who is studying Class III in Children Montessori, is the daughter of Sangeetha and Prabhakar Reddy couple.

Vidya Hasin, a student of Class VIII in Delhi Public School, is the daughter of Jogu Rama Devi and Umapathi couple.
