Garlanding the portrait of the legendary reformer at Venkatrama Theatre Junction, the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) secretary Meesala Prakash said that ensuring the growth and development of the distressed sections would form a real tribute to Phule.
Phule, who was born in Maharashtra, was a thinker, social reformer and writer, was one of the foremost champions of social justice. He strived for equal rights for all regardless of caste and creed, Prakash said.
