Warangal: Professor Shankar to head CSE Department at KITS
Prof V Shankar has been appointed as the new Head of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) in Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science (KITS).
Warangal: Prof V Shankar has been appointed as the new Head of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) in Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science (KITS).
He received orders in this regard from Principal Prof K Ashoka Reddy on Friday.
Prof Shankar worked in various positions for the last two decades and had doctoral degree from Kakatiya University in field of engineering and technology with specialisation in data mining. He has produced more than 40 research papers. In addition to this, he is also looking after network and internet services in the institute.
In a similar development, Prof B Ramadevi has been appointed as the new Head of Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE). She had also received the orders from Ashoka Reddy.
Prof Ramadevi, who joined as assistant professor in 2007, completed Ph D from JNTU, Hyderabad, in 2016 in the field of engineering & technology with the specialisation in wireless communication. She had five patents besides publishing more than 30 research papers. Prof P Niranjan Reddy, Prof G Raghotham Reddy and PRO Dr D Prabhakara Chary were among others present.
