TRS working president and minister KT Rama Rao expressed anguish at Veterinary doctor Priyanka Reddy's death and said that he will personally monitor the case.

He also assured to deliver justice to the heinous crime and punish the accused. The minister further asked to dial 100 if anyone in distress.

Meanwhile, the city police arrested four others including two from Anantapur district. The accused were said to have kidnapped Priyanka and sexually assaulted at Thondupalli junction. Later, they took her to Shadnagar and burnt alive under Chatanpalli bridge.
