A woman allegedly committed suicide by setting herself on fire at a shelter home in Bahadurpura today.
Syeda Saba (45), a native of Zaheerabad was admitted to shelter home last year. She is learned to have shown suicidal tendencies for the past few days.
Syeda set ablaze the mattress on which she is sleeping and ended life. The police were alerted by the shelter home staff. They registered a case and launched an investigation.
