Yadadri temple income reaches record level

Yadadri: Yadadri Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Hundi income has reached a record level, temple EO Geetha Reddy revealed.

Officials and staff counted the cash and jewellery offered by the devotees in the temple hundis at the Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Vrata Mandapam located down the hill on Tuesday.

The temple received cash of Rs 2,12,16,700,167 grams of mixed gold and 600 grams of mixed silver of 2 kg. This income is for 20 days, officials confirmed.

EO said temple got cash of foreign currency which includes 1194 US dollars, 140 UAE dirhams, 150 Australia dollars, 30 UK pounds, 45 Canada dollars, 10,500 Oman rials, 45 New Zealand dollars, 74 Singapore dollars, 69 Malaysia Ringgits , 27 Saudi riyals.
