31,296 to be vaccinated in Chittoor dry run

Chittoor District collector Dr N B Gupta declared that Covid vaccination dry run would commence in the district by January 2 in which 31,296 healthcare workers would be vaccinated
Chittoor: District collector Dr N B Gupta declared that Covid vaccination dry run would commence in the district by January 2 in which 31,296 healthcare workers would be vaccinated. It will be held at Chief Minister Aarogya Kendram, Chittoor, SVIMS in Tirupati and a private hospital at Madanapalli.
Addressing the district task force committee meet at the collectorate here on Friday, Gupta said all precautions should be taken for storing the vaccine in the prescribed freezers. As many 31,296 healthcare workers were selected from the government and private hospitals for dry run vaccination. Dry run sessions In-charge officer should own the responsibility of the operation in an effective manner, he said. Zilla parishad CEO, district panchayat officer, DMHO and ICDS project officer should coordinate to make the programme a success without any lapses from any corner, the collector added.
Joint collector Veera Brahmam (development ), trainee collector Vishnu Charan, DMHO Dr Penchalaiah, DCH Dr Saralamma and others were present.
