5-day national integration camp begins in Tirupati
A five-day national integration camp with the slogan ‘Ek Bharat Shrest Bharat’ was inaugurated in Tirupati on Sunday. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the vice-president of Central Nehru Yuva Kendra Sanghatan S Vishnuvardhan Reddy said that ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’ is a prestigious programme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi which takes up the message all Indians are one irrespective of caste, language, religion and state.

The Ministry of Sports and Youth affairs has been taking the message to 45 countries to propagate our rich culture and heritage and the programme was being held now in 120 districts in the country. For the programme held in Tirupati, 250 youth from 14 states have come and are exhibiting performances to showcase their culture and traditions.
In West Bengal Maoist influence on youth has minimised due to such programmes. Nehru Yuva Kendra Sanghatan is spread into 620 districts in the country and extending cooperation to 10,000 youth every year.
Tirupati MP B Durga Prasada Rao felt that youth has to play a crucial role in democracy. He lauded the performance of youth representing various states who have competed with each other in exhibiting their talent. He advised that youth should learn different languages. Joint Collector – II VR Chandra Mouli, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sanghatan State Director Venkatesam and others also spoke on the occasion.
SV Puram centre of Vadamalapet mandal was given Rs.1 lakh cheques for exhibiting extraordinary talent. District Youth Coordinator Pradeep Kumar, Babu Reddy, Gnana Sekhar Reddy, Raja Reddy, Govinda Reddy, Somasekhar and others participated.
