Dr BR Ambedkar’s 128th birth anniversary celebrations were held in a fitting manner at SVIMS here on Monday.
Tirupati: Dr BR Ambedkar's 128th birth anniversary celebrations were held in a fitting manner at SVIMS here on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, the In-charge Director Dr M Hanumantha Rao has said that everyone should understand the spirit of Ambedkar's efforts and continue his ideology. He was the intellectual recognised by the whole world, who has made great contributions to the Indian Constitution.
The books return by him in economics were being used as text books for students in America even today. Though he was born in a small family, he believed in the values of education and has emerged as a great visionary, said Rao. SVIMS SC, ST Association President K Bhupal; SC, ST Employees Liaison officer Dr Sridhar Babu; Dr Srihari Rao, Dr Sukumar, Dr Sivakumar and Jayasekhar also spoke on the occasion. Medical Superintendent Dr Alok Sachan, Registrar Dr TC Kalawat, Dr Koti Reddy, Dr Govinda Narayana,
Dr Suresh, Dr Lokeswar Reddy, and others were also present in the programme.
