Puttaparthi (Anantapur): Covid warriors of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences (SSSIHMS) were felicitated on the occasion of the Bhagawan's birth anniversary day. Appreciating the services of the staff of the SSSIHMS in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic, the Managing Trustee of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust R J Rathnakar and the All India president of Sri Sathya Sai Seva organisations Nimish Pandya visited the SSSIHMS, Prasanthigram on Bhagawan's birth anniversary day and handed over souvenirs to the Covid warriors blessed by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Around 420 hospital staff were involved in providing care at the Covid-19 treatment centre who included 53 doctors, 142 nurses and 225 other paramedical and support staff.

Speaking on the occasion, Rathnakar expressed his happiness at the unmatched service being provided by the hospital's Covid warriors and added that many local people who had met him since the inauguration of the Covid-19 treatment centre, had expressed their deep gratitude to the staff involved in the covid care.
