The government of Andhra Pradesh headed by chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has made a key decision in view of Polavaram project. The government has sacked the technical and legal advisor of the project HK Sahu. The order was issued by Adityanath Das, Special Secretary of Water Resources Department on Friday. HK Sahu was appointed as a consultant on April 14, 2018 for the Polavaram Project Authority's office in Hyderabad for technical and legal advice on the project and Rs. 2 lakh was also paid as the salary.
The CEO of Polavaram project has sent feedback to the government over the performance of HK Sahu's, which is not satisfactory. This resulted in the decision to dismiss the project's technical and legal advisor Sahu. It would be interesting to see who could be replaced Sahu.
