Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will be leaving for Jerusalem along with family members from August 1 to 4.
Amaravati: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will be leaving for Jerusalem along with family members from August 1 to 4. Officials said that it was purely a personal visit. He will reach Hyderabad by a special flight and from there he will leave for Jerusalem.
This is the first visit of the Chief Minsiter to Jerusalem, after he became the Chief Minister. In fact, this is also the first foreign tour of Jagan. After returning from Jerusalem on August 5, the Chief Minister will go to the US consulate for obtaining visa as he proposes to visit USA on August 16. On August 6, Jagan is scheduled to go to New Delhi on a two-day visit.
During his stay in Delhi he will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Finance Minister Nirmala Seetharaman, Home Minister Amit Shah, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu and President of India Ram Nath Kovind. He is likely to discuss various issues pertaining to the state's development and the financial problems it was facing and will urge the Centre to extend a helping hand.
