Dussehra Sarannavaratri celebrations on Indrakeeladri are going on grandly. On the sixth day, the goddess would be worshipped as Mahalakshmi Devi. Devotees across the country are visiting the temple from early in the morning. Temple officials have announced the devotees can offer their prayers till 11 in the night.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is scheduled to visit the temple on Friday. State ministers would welcome the Chief Minister at Oankaram. In the evening, the chief minister will offer prayers to Indrakiladri and present silk robes to the goddess.VIP queues will be turned off in the wake of Jagan's visit while the general queue lines will be running. No vehicles will be allowed on the Ghat Road from 2.30 pm during Chief Minister's tour.
