Chittoor: Deputy Chief Minister K Narayana Swamy reiterated that Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy was committed for enforcing total prohibition in a phased manner.

As per the promise made by Jagan Mohan Reddy during his padayatra, total prohibition would be implemented in the state with the active cooperation of the woman, he added. He participated in the house site pattas' distribution programme held at Katterla village in Karvetingar mandal on Tuesday.

Narayana Swamy said the YSRCP government has decided to issue house site pattas to all the poor beneficiaries without discrimination besides constructing permanent houses in due course. No poor family would be left without getting the benefit of the house site and a own house , he said.

He complimented that all the district officers in Chittoor district were doing remarkable job in implementation of various welfare schemes as per the expectations of the Chief Minister. District collector Dr N B Gupta said that 2.6 lakh poor beneficiaries would be covered under house site pattas distribution in the district.
