State Jangama Sangham president S Gangadhar demanded the government to conduct high level enquiry over the misappropriation of funds in Srisailam temple and take stringent action against the culprits
Chittoor: State Jangama Sangham president S Gangadhar demanded the government to conduct high level enquiry over the misappropriation of funds in Srisailam temple and take stringent action against the culprits. The employees who have indulged in corrupt practices at various temples should be punished with dismissal of their services, he said. The leaders of State Jangama Sangham have submitted a memorandum to Dr Renuka , RDO, Chittoor here on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, he flayed that state government was planning to sell the temple lands against the rules of Endowment Act. He also demanded to remit Rs.10,000 as honorarium for the temple pujaris. BJP leaders A. Srinivasulu, Ravi Kumar , and others were present.
