Chittoor: Superintendent of Police S Senthil Kumar asked the newly trained Ward Mahila Samrakshana Karyadarsulu to strive for ensuring corruption free society and for communal harmony. Effective measures have to be taken to take the benefits of government schemes to the doorstep of beneficiaries, he said. As many as 244 Ward Women Protection secretaries were given training for two weeks at District Police Training Centre. On the concluding day of their training, Senthil Kumar has addressed them here on Sunday.

The SP stressed that the trained secretaries should work sincerely without giving scope for any corruption practices and should serve the society as a bridge between the Government and the police department. The forthcoming Local body and municipal elections would be crucial for the police department. Special focus should be given for enlightening the police services like Dial 100, Emergency Mahila National Security-112, Women Help Line -181, police Whatsapp 9440900005, the SP added. DSP Giridhar, CIs Rajendra Prasad, Surendra and others were present.
