In order to curb the spread of Covid-19, several temples announced to shut down. So far, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, Srisailam, Yadadri temple has imposed restrictions on the devotees.
Recently, Arjitha Seva has been cancelled at Kanaka Durga temple in Vijayawada. The temple EO said in a statement that as part of the precautionary measures to avoid the spread of Covid-19, the temple governing body had taken this decision.
This decision comes into effect from March 21st to April 4th. The authorities decided to conduct Homam at the temple seeking wellness of the people of the state.
