In view of ensuing annual Brahmotsavams, a joint inspection was conducted by TTD Chief Vigilance and Security Officer (CVSO) Gopinath Jatti and Tirupati Urban SP Anburajan along with TTD Vigilance and police officials respectively in the four Mada streets of Tirumala on Thursday.

Tirumala: In view of ensuing annual Brahmotsavams, a joint inspection was conducted by TTD Chief Vigilance and Security Officer (CVSO) Gopinath Jatti and Tirupati Urban SP Anburajan along with TTD Vigilance and police officials respectively in the four Mada streets of Tirumala on Thursday.

In the hour-long inspection, the two senior officials inspected various places including the Mada streets and galleries from where the devotees witness the vahana sevas during the 9-day Brahmotsavams which slated from September 30 to October 8 this year.

After inspection, speaking to media they said, the points where security needs to be enhanced has been identified along with parking areas for the upcoming annual fete in Tirumala.

"If any more amendments we want regarding barricading, erecting security measure structures will be taken care of," they said affirming that TTD and the police are geared up for the smooth conduct of the major religious festival.

Additional CVSO Sivakumar Reddy, VGOs Manohar, Prabhakar, ASP Umashankar Raju and other officials were also present. Meanwhile, TTD AVSO Manohar held a meeting with locals including shop keepers to apprise them the security measures to be in place for the Brahmotsavams.

Seeking the support of locals for the implementation of the security measures, AVSO sought the shop owners to ensure all those working in their shops have identity cards.
