Date extended for DSC applications
Andhra Pradesh State Commissioner for School Education K Sandhya Rani informed that the deadline for applications of special DSC has been extended to April 11.
Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh State Commissioner for School Education K Sandhya Rani informed that the deadline for applications of special DSC has been extended to April 11.Earlier, notification was issued for Teacher Eligibility Test-Cum-Teacher Recruitment Test (TET-Cum-TRT), for the posts of school assistants (special education) under Inclusive Education for Disabled at Secondary Stage (IEDSS), under the Andhra Pradesh Samagra Shiksha Scheme (SMS) and the school education department.
It was allowed to apply for the test online. The special DSC recruitment notification, released by the state government on February 15 had scheduled recruitment test between February 25 and March 11. The notification was intended for direct recruitment of 602 School Assistants in various departments.
Earlier, the Union government had initiated and sanctioned the grants for 1,424 posts in the year 2012, before the bifurcation of the Telugu state. The AP government had released the notification recently, after a long gap of seven years.
