Dr Ravishankar elected president of psychiatrists body

Dr Pasam Ravishankar, head of the department of psychiatry of KIMS (Konaseema Institute of Medical Sciences) here has been elected as president of Indian Psychiatrists Association’s AP Chapter.
Amalapuram: Dr Pasam Ravishankar, head of the department of psychiatry of KIMS (Konaseema Institute of Medical Sciences) here has been elected as president of Indian Psychiatrists Association's AP Chapter.
At the programme conducted in Kadapa on July 13, Dr Ravishakar took charge from Dr Teja in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Chand Basha who attended as chief guest for the programme.
Dr Ravishankar earlier served in Kakinada Government Hospital as professor and head of the psychiatry department and after retirement extending services to KIMS, Amalapuram. Chairman of KIMS KVV Satyanarayana Raju congratulated Dr Ravishankar for heading the state chapter of psychiatrists.
