Godavari Boat is Expected to be extracted by Evening
Finally, the extraction of the Royal Vashishta Punnami boat, which was sunk in the Godavari at Devipattinam Mandal is all set to be successful.

The Dharmadi Satyam team is all set to extract the boat today. The whole process is being looked after by Kakinada port captain Adinarayana. The boat is expected to be located at 88 feet below the sea level.
Divers of Visakhapatnam are trying to tie the Iron Rope into the rear end of the boat. If the effort succeeds, the boat will be pulled out with the Proclaimers. If all goes as planned, the task of retrieving the boat will be completed in an hour, the Dharmadi Satyam team and marine divers said.
As many as 73 tourists travelled in the boat while 38 bodies were retrieved in the rescue operations while the search is going on to race the remaining 11 bodies. The government has assigned the extraction works to the Balaji Marine Company and Kakinada Port officials.
