Govt to hold Spandana program in all districts to address farmers grievances on Raithu Bharosa scheme
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has directed district collectors to hold a unique program called 'Spandana' to resolve the farmers' grievances on Raithu Bharosa scheme on November 9 (Saturday).
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has directed district collectors to hold a unique program called 'Spandana' to resolve the farmers' grievances on Raithu Bharosa scheme on November 9 (Saturday). CM held a Video conference with district collectors and directed them to find the eligible beneficiaries.
The Chief Minister said that the Spandana program should be conducted at the Mandal, Division and District Centers.
"Farmers should get the funds of Raithu Bharosa scheme by November 15 and the deadline for tenant farmers should be extended as the rabi season has recently begun," the Chief Minister said. The government had extended the deadline for tenant farmers as they are yet to make their agreement with the landowners.
So far, 40 lakhs 84 thousand 738 farmers and tenant farmers have deposited Rs 3,256.41 crore. The tenant farmers and tribes who are cultivating deodaya, eenam, forest and unclaimed lands by November 15 are also taking steps to provide assistance under the farmer's assurance. Assistance will also be given to the families of the deceased farmers.
