'Gudiko Gomata' will be implemented across the country: TTD chairman

Kakinada: TTD chairman Y V Subba Reddy said that under the direction of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy TTD would organise a 'Gudiko Gomata' programme across the country as part of the wider propagation of Hindu Dharma. Under the aegis of Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad (HDPP)' Gudiko Gomata programme, Subba Reddy handed over a cow and a calf to Sri Bala Tripura Sundari temple here on Saturday. Kakinada MP Vanga Geetha and MLA Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy and others were present.

The TTD chairman said that the programme was launched at Indrakeeladri in Vijayawada in the holy month of Karthika Masam. The programme will be launched in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu soon and will be implemented across the country. He said TTD had decided to establish 500 temples in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states through the HDPP in tribal, Dalit, weaker sections' and fisherfolk colonies.
