Guntur: All set for distribution of house sites on July 8
District collector I Samuel said that the district administration is making arrangements to distribute house sites to the poor on July 8.
Guntur: District collector I Samuel said that the district administration is making arrangements to distribute house sites to the poor on July 8. He said during the first phase they will distribute house site pattas to 2,39,900 beneficiaries. In the second phase, they will distribute house sites to another 34,561 beneficiaries. He participated in the CM's videoconference from the collectorate in Guntur city on Tuesday.
Speaking on this occasion, he said that the district administration has developed layouts to distribute house sites to the poor. He further said that for second phase beneficiaries they will acquire 710 acres of land. They will complete the process within two days and added that by June 30, they will develop the layouts and make necessary arrangements to distribute house sites to the poor. He said that they have regularized the houses constructed on encroachments for 15,180 families.
Joint collector Sridhar Reddy, district revenue officer NVV Satyanarayana, DMHO Dr Y Yasmin were among those participated in the videoconference.
