Guntur: MP Lavu Sri Krishnadevarayalau called upon the farmers to avail the Rythu Bharosa scheme to be launched by the government on Tuesday.
Interacting with the farmers in Lagadapadu village in Pedakurapadu village in the district on Monday, he said that taking the problems of farmers into consideration, Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has increased the financial assistance to Rs 13,500 from Rs 12,500.
He said all the poor farmers will get the benefit under the scheme and added that the Chief Minister will launch the scheme on Tuesday. He said so far, the government released Rs 5,510 crore towards the implementation of the scheme.
He suggested the farmers to use the amount for investment in kharif and rabi crops.
