Guntur : Special pujas were performed to Lord Siva at Amaralingeswara Swamy Temple at Amaravati, Trikoteswara Swamy temple at Kotappakonda, Bramaramba Sametha Mallikarjuna Swamy temple at Pedakakani on the occasion of Karthika Somavaram. Abhishekams were performed to Lord Siva since 4.30am.

Ekada Rudharabhishekam, Lakha Bilwarchanas were performed to Amaralingeswara Swamy. Vedic scholars performed special puja with Namakam, Chamakam to Lord Siva. The devastanam authorities and police made elaborate arrangements for the convenience of devotees and maintained social distance in the queue lines.

The authorities expected that at least 20,000 devotees will visit the temple. However, only 8,000 devotees visited the temple. Devotees visited the temple and performed pujas and Abhishekams seeking blessings of Sri Trikoteswara Swamy to fulfil their wishes.

A large number of women lit the lamps on the temple premises.
