Home Minister inaugurates 2 blocks at VIT-AP
Mekathoti Sucharitha, Minister for Home and Disaster Management inaugurated Academic Block-2 named APJ Abdul Kalam Block, Men’s Hostel -2 named as Rabindranath Tagore Block and Tanguturi Prakasam Auditorium at VIT AP University campus on Tuesday.
Vijayawada: Mekathoti Sucharitha, Minister for Home and Disaster Management inaugurated Academic Block-2 named APJ Abdul Kalam Block, Men's Hostel -2 named as Rabindranath Tagore Block and Tanguturi Prakasam Auditorium at VIT AP University campus on Tuesday.
She also inaugurated the Tanguturi Prakasam Auditorium with 544 seating capacity in the presence of Dr Vundavalli Sridevi, MLA Tadikonda, Dr G Viswanathan, Chancellor VIT, Sankar Viswanathan, Vice-President, VIT-AP University.
The Home Minister said that creating vital infrastructure and supporting the deserving to avail higher education through STARS (Support the Advancement of Rural Students) programme in a new state like Andhra Pradesh will help to create skilled manpower.
Dr Vundavalli Sridevi said that VIT was growing because of their vision to transform higher education and contribute to the improvement of life itself through application of knowledge.
