Eluru: Deputy Chief Minister Alla Nani sanctioned house and other benefits to victim of high tension (HT) electrical wires when the latter's family approached him seeking help. The prompt action by Nani filled happiness in the poor family of the victim.

Seven-year-old B Durga Sai Sanjeev of Gannavaram village in East Godavari lost his hand and suffered leg injuries when he accidentally touched high tension live wires hanging loose on the rooftop of the house while playing.

His family brought him to Nani's camp office on Saturday seeking help. Moved by the plight of the boy, Nani immediately spoke to the East Godavari district APEPDCL official and persuaded the SE to extend help. He assured the boy's family to approach him when he visits East Godavari in his position of in-charge minister soon to receive the benefits.
