The decision of the Hyderabad CBI court in the case of AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's Quid Pro Quo case in the case of penna cement has been discussed in legal circles. It is notorious that Principal Special GV Madhusudan Rao has ordered the trial to be closed in-camera proceedings in the presence of the lawyers of both sides. On January 10, the CBI court ordered the AP CM YS Jagan to attend the hearing.

The judge BV Madhusudan Rao responded to the inquiry into the Penna Cement case and ordered that the other lawyers who were not involved in the case not present in the court.

Generally, sensitive cases such as national security and rape charges are dealt with in the course of the In-Camera proceedings. Legal inquiries into the Quid Pro Quo case, however, have sparked debate. Legal experts say the decision has been taken to keep the case out of the public eye as officials and celebrities are facing serious corruption allegations.

Former Judge M Venkataramana had prevented from writing news reports about the trial in the past. But there is an argument that he has not decided to conduct In-Camera proceedings. However, it was reported that the media was allowed to cover essential matters related to the case.

Meanwhile, Penna Cements has objected to the filing of the CBI Supplementary Chargesheet in this case. The lawyers for Penna have informed the Special Judge that there is nothing new in the second charge sheet other than the first charge sheet. It was therefore requested not to consider the additional charge-sheet.

The hearing on the petition filed by Penna Cements has been adjourned to January 10 for not to consider the additional charge sheet in the Quid Proco case. The case is highly significant as many political leaders and government officials are listed in the charge sheet of the case.
