International Flavours & Fragrances opens library, resource centre in Tirupati
Sri City based International Flavours & Fragrances (IFF) India Private Limited Inc., has launched a READ Community Library & Resource Centre (CLRC) at Irugulam, a village located in the vicinity of Sri City, on Wednesday.
Tirupati: Sri City based International Flavours & Fragrances (IFF) India Private Limited Inc., has launched a READ Community Library & Resource Centre (CLRC) at Irugulam, a village located in the vicinity of Sri City, on Wednesday.
IFF, a leading innovator of taste, scent and nutrition, in collaboration with READ India, a non-profit organisation, under its CSR programme, has initiated the project. IFF India Managing Director MG Prakash has inaugurated the CLRC in the presence of READ India Country Director Dr Geeta Malhotra. Sri City President Ramesh Subramaniam, Kreya University Dean (Library Sciences) Dr Ragashree Kishore and others were present.
Explaining about the very intent of setting up the CLRC at Irugulam, Dr Geeta Malhotra said that with the support of sponsors, READ establishes CLRC by partnering with rural communities across India. Addressing the gathering, MG Prakash said that IFF puts efforts for promoting education and community development in different parts of the country and appealed to the local community to make use of all the resources of CLRC.
Commenting on the occasion, Sri City MD Ravindra Sannareddy said that IFF's community-focused efforts being rendered through READ India are highly appreciable.
