JNTU-K vice-chancellor Prof M Ramalinga Raju appreciated Ishak for developing such unique innovations which quite extraordinary and quite beneficial for society.

Kakinada: Ishak Shaik, student of JNTU-K pursuing third year B Tech (International Collaborative Programme) in CSE department in University College of Engineering Kakinada (UCEK) designed a unique brainwave interface with which several things can be operated automatically with that particular person's thoughts.

The student came to limelight with three extraordinary innovations. He won "Protech-2019" Best Research Award conducted by College of Engineering (CoE) in association with Symbiosis International University, Pune.

Based on the artificial intelligence (AI) brainwave authentication, one can unlock his device with his thoughts. The second innovation is based on AI brainwave safety system with anxiety based threat. One can focus on detection and alarm system. Again based on artificial intelligence brainwave simulated wheelchair he invented automatic wheelchair motion system for differently-abled.

JNTU-K vice-chancellor Prof M Ramalinga Raju appreciated Ishak for developing such unique innovations which quite extraordinary and quite beneficial for society. He applauded Ishak for his creative genius and who stood cut above the rest on the intellectual platform.

Prof L Sumalatha, president, MHRD Institute of Innovation Council took initiative in promoting Ishak's research activities and encouraged him to win various prizes.
